The Houstonian is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city, perfect for a romantic or relaxing getaway. The amenities are fantastic, especially the spa and dining options, making for a rejuvenating experience. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure comfort and satisfaction, although some decor could use a refresh to match the elegance expected at such a venue. Overall, a wonderful escape with minimal drawbacks.

Rooms

Our room was cozy and well-appointed, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a lovely view. However, it felt slightly dated compared to the luxe vibe the hotel generally conveys.

The spa and pool areas are stunning and well-maintained. The amenities at Trellis Spa made for a perfect pampering experience, although we didn’t get to explore everything due to time constraints.

I had high expectations for a luxurious spa experience, but my stay was a mixed bag. While the spa treatments were great and the staff in the bar area were friendly, the crowded facilities left something to be desired. The food was hit or miss, with the lunch not living up to the standards I anticipated. Overall, it was decent, but I expected a lot more given the pricing.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, enjoying a serene atmosphere that felt like an escape from the city while still being close to everything I wanted to do. The amenities, especially the pools and fitness areas, were impressive and added to the overall enjoyment of my stay. However, I did encounter issues with the room that dampened the experience slightly, specifically with maintenance concerns that were not addressed promptly. Overall, this hotel is a wonderful retreat in Houston, with a lovely landscape and great facilities.

Overall, I had a decent experience at the hotel, with some wonderful perks like the concierge floor and attentive staff. However, the dining experience was not up to par with the rest of the amenities, and the rooms could use some serious updates. Although I appreciated the friendly service, the outdated facilities made my stay a little disappointing, especially considering the price I paid.

I had an incredible stay at this resort! The pools were exceptional, providing a variety of experiences from a lap pool to a secluded garden pool. The fitness facility is top-notch and perfect for anyone who enjoys staying active. However, the rooms felt a bit outdated for a resort of this caliber. Overall, it’s a great place for both relaxation and fitness, with amazing staff that truly cares about your experience.
